What is it about me
That makes you want to make me see
Reality?

I see only too clearly
That you envy
The fact that my dreams
Are extremes
That you can't reach

Bound as you are by your realistic seams.

All the reams
In the world don't seem
To hold a tenth of my dreams.

I won't go to extremes
But ask me real nice to share my dreams

for my faith, only they redeem

Sometimes you can only write something in a poem succinctly and visually that can't be written in prose. It just doesn't sound right in prose. You and my coz have that gift. I so envy that.

Phewwww! I remember wanting to write a similar post way back in December when a certain lady was trying so desperately to make me see reality. Only I couldn't do such an amazing job of it, and I came across as being rather rude.

Though I don't know how much I believe in denial now, I can't say I wanto reach the extremes of negativity either. I prefer hope anyday.
